  • Will you pray for me?
I will pray for anyone who is sincerely seeking a better understanding of God and who has a desire for spiritual healing. Back to Questions

  • What is a Christian Science Practitioner? A Christian Science Practitioner is one who is devoted to following Jesus' teachings and example. He heals on the same basis as Jesus and the biblical prophets. He listens to God and prays to know more of your Godlike nature and the power of Truth. The practitioner is experienced in apply the biblical truths to any challenge. These truths and how to apply them are laid out in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. Science and Health reveals the spritual essence of the Bible and how Jesus healed. Back to Questions

  • What is Christian Science Treatment?

I can support you generally, or if you have something specific you need healed, I will give you a focused treatment, a prayer that brings the healing power of God to bear on that challenge. It affirms the present power and truth of God's Word, and your inseparability from God-good. No two treatments are ever the same. The applications of divine Principle are literally infinite. Every case is unique.

When Christian Science treatment is requested, the patient has given permission for the practitioner to prayerfully treat his or her state of thought. Christian Science treatment may be requested by the person desiring healing or by someone else on that person’s
behalf if that person is unable to do so for themselves.

Treatments can be given over the phone, in person, or via written or electronic correspondence. Healing is through prayer alone, no physical manipulation or medication is used.

If you are using medications or a special diet in relation to this or any other problem you are facing, it is suggested that you consider requesting prayer for support, rather than Christian Science treatment. See the question, “What if I want prayer, but not Christian
    Science treatment?” below.

In Christian Science treatment, the patient is in control of their treatment and the patient determines the length of the treatment, although healing is expected in one treatment. All communications between the patient and practitioner are entirely confidential. Back to Questions

  • What if I want general prayer, but not Christian Science treatment?

One may prefer to request prayer, rather than Christian Science treatment, if they are already being treated by the medical establishment or if they are self-treating by using over-the-counter medication, herbs or diet.

In this case the practitioner prays about the situation rather than for a person. Prayer about a situation may be requested by anyone and it is not designed to treat any specific person's state of thought. Back to Questions

  • Can I be healed without being seen?

Absolutely. A treatment can be given over the phone, in person, or via written or electronic correspondence. In the Bible, Jesus healed the Centurion's servant without ever visiting him.. Back to Questions

  • Who does the healing?

God-good, the great IAM, the supreme Being, always does the healing. Healing will come, but it is not the Christian Science practitioner's thought or the patient's thought that makes the healing possible.Back to Questions

  • What kinds of things can I ask you to pray about?

If you are concerned about something, you may ask me for Christian Science treatment or for prayer related to it. I have been asked in the past for help with problems such as illness, injury, fear, relationship issues, to quit smoking, to quit drinking, to find a job. Any problem is subject to the power of prayer. Back to Questions

  • What are your study tools?

I use The Holy Bible (usually the King James Version, but also several other translations) and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, together with other writings by Mary Baker Eddy as the basis of my study, treatment, and prayer.
